I resume this discussion: i can't figure out if the pic 12F683 is broken or not. not him 10 new and all have the same problem, in simulation everything perfect, in reality they do not go. I tried to swap the GP0,1,2 between them but where I apply a trimmer everything is fine, where I connect a LM335 (that with a multimeter responds perfectly) there is no way to make it work. I have converted the program to MBPro, same exact problems. I have converted the program to a 12F675 and the same circuit works fine. I modified an output with the Rsout command, and with a logic analyzer, I see a train of impulses coming out but I can't interpret it, I never did it. But, when i started this project, I was using a 12F683 from another supply (I only had one) and that works, possible that all the other pic are dead? Now I have ordered more 10, it will take time to get them……. I do not know what to do…….28 March 2021 at 16:57 #10339
To interpret the serial with the logic analyzer, which I assume is like mine, you have to choose the RS232 protocol. Then in the view you can choose the type of format, such as hexadecimal or decimal or ASCII. Maybe you put your Rsout command in text so with ASCII you should see it. If you haven't used the DEC of the proton then the value you see would be exactly as the proton basic sends it.
I do not think that 10 MCUs have the same problem, perhaps an oversight in programming.28 March 2021 at 21:33 #10341
Ciao, I did a lot of tests…. lastly, I put the wrong pic in the power supply where there is one that works perfectly. It just doesn't work…. And, the logic analyzer is the one in the photo above in this 3D and as a SW I use pulseview or logic 1.2.18. I'll try again tomorrow as soon as I have some time. However I have recreated the SW with MBPro and it doesn't work anyway. I have only one proof left : read the pic it works, and transfer in FW on the wrong pic. I don't know what else to say, however I do not desist and wait for the other pic to be delivered to me….30 March 2021 at 15:55 #103641 April 2021 at 11:20 #10371
I do not understand. If you write a working FW on a faulty micro and it works, then the defect is in the previous FW.1 April 2021 at 12:24 #10373
Sorry, I badly explained myself…. the fw of the pic working, put in the pic “defective” does not work….2 April 2021 at 17:24 #10375
Then you could do the test to put the thermostat's FW on the working micro and understand if the FW is good.2 April 2021 at 21:13 #10377
I thought about it, as soon as I have time I try.
