    I also added an auto-reset circuit controlled by the DTR signal coming from the USB-serial adapter.
    In this way it is possible to have an automatic toolchain to assemble, load and run on target (the 68008 su breadboard) without physically touching the board.
    Here a demo with the EhBasic source:

    At this point it's time to start thinking about the final card…

    Lately I have had time to devote myself to the final sheet of the 68008. For now I have completed the first draft of the wiring diagram and a first attempt to place the components on a 100x100mm PCB (without any routing for now):

    Now the more complex part begins. We'll see…

    The placement of components is sometimes very arbitrary. In fact, one thinks less about it, given the possibilities of using automated programs.
    I remember that with the first attempts to make circuits it took me several attempts and sometimes the rule is to follow a path of use, At least you think you can put the connections towards the edges and possibly a sense of inputs and outputs. But then, to overcome certain difficulties, I tried to make the tracks pass between two feet. At the end I used some transfers and a specific squared sheet. It seems to me that it was only a 2,5 mm of square.
    I wrote a article for a little development. In fact I was thinking if you might be interested. In fact, I would hope that the Chinese will get the idea for a production module.

    Bravo! Also because you have chosen in THT.
    It must be said that in order to stay in 10 cm2 it already takes a good job. In my opinion the CPU could be on the left, but I would say you should pick up the Kicad and try it out.

    I have completed the PCB routing.
    The board allows two main HW configurations: Lite e Full.
    With the Lite configuration they serve only 3 integrated to have a working system.

    Now a few refinements before sending it all to manufacture…

    I have tried the freerouting and it seems to me that depending on the parameters it does a good job. In all cases it is a masterpiece like Michelangelo's David or Leonardo's Mona Lisa.
