Hello,
I’ve built gamma spectrometer with CdWO4 scintillator. The output pulses are 0-2 volts height and 150 µs width at the bottom part. Here is the photo of sample pulse:

How to set parameters to collect correct spectrum? I have a problem with configuring Theremino parameters.They say it is a “counting” christal, so it will not work to do Gamma Spectrometry.
With a counting christal you could only use this christal as a geiger tube, that is more cheap and simple to connect.But someone says that it could work with a large FWHM, so you could try.
Read the MCA app instructions and try yourself.
We can not help because we never tested this chrystal.Best regards
